The Patterson-Gimlin film, also known as the Petterson Bigfoot footage, is a 59-second black and white motion picture taken on October 20, 1967, in California's Bluff Creek area by Roger Patterson, a livestock investigator, and Bob Gimlin, a horse trainer.
